Cheol players brought back a fantastic haul of medals from the All Ireland International Championships (Sunday 28th Sept, Dublin).  With 160 kyorugi (sparring players) plus the same competing in poomsae (patterns) it was a busy day, with 5 rings running all day.  Players came from all round Ireland, as well as representatives from Scotland, England, France, Spain, Switzerland and doubtless one or two more. With individuals, pairs and team medals to be won everyone had lots to work for but it would have been hard to predict just how well it turned out.    In no particular order our players did as follows:

Cameron: Gold in individuals, gold in team, bronze in pairs.

Eoghan: silver in individuals, gold in team, gold in pairs

Eden: Bronze in team and bronze in pairs

Claudia: Silver in individuals, bronze in team, bronze in pairs.

These results really show how well our students are coming on, the amount of hard work they put in and their determination to do well.

Perhaps most importantly everyone tried their best, made new friends and had a lot of fun.  Next competition - NI Inter-Club.  Time to get training again.

 Go Cheol!!
